Boom cam French manufacturer Boom Audio & Video has expanded its line of Cool Cam camera cranes. Used by Canal+, France Television, and other major French networks, Cool Cam pro adds motorized pan control for its NAB 2003 incarnation. The 4m Cool Cam pro pole ships with an NTSC or PAL Toshiba IKTU-62H camera with three 1/2in. CCDs, a Fujinon zoom lens (5.5×22), and SDI output. Via soft controls on the pole, shooters can control the camera's zoom, iris, focus, and pan. Boom offers training anywhere in the U.S.
