Vixia HV30 Canon's introduction of its HV20 camcorder at the beginning of 2007 raised the ante for small, entry-level camcorders with its 1920×1080 imager and 24p Cinema Mode. The camcorder was a hit, with a number of awards noting its color rendition and capability of direct HDMI output from the camera head.
