Better grip gear Band Pro Film & Digital announced it was buying a small startup operation that will supply the company with custom accessory-mounting gear, initially for the Sony F23 CineAlta line. Its full name, Solid Design Powered by Band Pro, is a mouthful, but the product line — at this point, anyway — is pretty simple: Quicksessories offer a new design for universal camera baseplates that are said to be more flexible than current offerings while easily integrating with equipment from other manufacturers.
