WDAY-TV purchases 18 JVC GY-HD100U camcorders for ENG operations

JVC Professional Products Company announced that WDAY-TV in Fargo, N.D., has purchased 18 GY-HD100U Pro HD cameras and 15 BR-HD50U VTRs for the station's electronic newsgathering (ENG). The ABC affiliate upgraded its old MII format with JVC's affordable Pro HD cameras as the station's primary camera for ENG. "We went with the GY-HD100U because the camera can record in SD or HD.
