Sony's new high-end design While Sony prides itself on its engineering prowess, the company's high-end F900 CineAlta series HD camera hadn't been replaced for six years. The company resolved that this past December with the unveiling of its new F23 camera system. Joining the HDC-F950 as a top product in the CineAlta line, the F23 offers full 1920×1080 4:4:4 RGB recording, employing three new 2.2Mb 2/3in. progressive CCDs, as well as an improved 14-bit A/D converter.
