Commercial-use plasma JVC introduces the 50in. GD-V501U plasma display monitor. The monitor offers 3000:1 contrast ratio and 1366×768 resolution. It supports HDTV and EDTV standards and reproduces high-definition pictures from 720p HDTV signals. High-XGA resolution can display VGA, SVGA, and XGA, as well as downconverted SXGA and UXGA modes. The remote control allows a separate ID for each monitor in multi-screen presentations, eliminating the need for additional RGB signal distributors that most multi-screen systems require.
