Compact RAID Kano Technologies says its new SureVault series delivers both compact size and ease of use, qualities not common in RAID arrays. The company's petite, plug-and-play systems come pre-formatted for either Macs or PCs. The SureVault Desktop RAID 5 Solution employs three IDE drives to deliver from 120GB to 600GB, with either USB 2.0 or FireWire 1394a connections. (A faster FireWire 1394b version delivers in August.)
